The dark women in white clothes, the calm sea, the reflection on the water, the Sky, the interesting debris on the beach -- everything about this picture is eye catching and thought provoking.

thought provoking, just as the people are reflecting upon the suffering of the slaves the water reflects their images, and their own lives.
