I just took my first peek at Philly this weekend, and we saw a little snow there too - sooo gorgeous! It's not like Seattle where the snow melts in a couple hours, it actually stayed on the trees all day!

I adore that bright red contrasted with white on the trees... are they leftover leaves, or a type of fruit/berry?

Wow...I find the simplicity of this picture evokes a sense of calmness, like everything is alright with the world.

where i grew up in canada there is a plant, an ornamental bush i guess, called bittersweet, the outside seed coat is bright red and the inner seed coat is orange, in the winter they look sorta like what you have caught here, good, thanks
